To me you had a heart of stone,
You didn't care about me,
I felt so alone.
With no one to turn to,
And nowhere to hide,
There was nothing I could do.
You hurt me bad, and called me names,
You thought it was funny,
You had no shame.
You turned him against me
Now that was low,
My own couldn't see….
….That what you was doing,
Was so very mean,
I couldn't even let them see me crying.
You turned them against me,
I've lost them for good,
I'm no longer his girl, no longer his baby.
One day you will get what you deserve,
What comes around goes around,
You won’t have a chance to swerve.
But now I’m done,
I don’t care anymore,
Your just another heartless person

ReplyDeleteTotally concur with Sian- your poems really do reflect the deep emotions of the poetic voice. You capture the reader with the words and rhythm that you inject into your poetry and by the end of the poem, I had felt like I had tears i my heart :'( . I have so much appreciation for gifted poets who are able to do this- paticularly when you consider poems don't use that many words- and you are most definitely a gifted poet :D XXX
