My Cinderella Story

Do you know one thing i hate? It's stepmothers. The disney films actually show stepmothers for what they truly are and that is an evil wicked bitch (instead of witch hehe). I feel so sorry for anyone who has a stepmother because they always seem to be horrible to the husbands children. I know this because i've been through hell with my stepmother all my life. Unlike Cinderella i don't live with my stepmother (thank god), i don't have two ugly stepsisters and my father is thankfully still alive. But one thing i would compare to Cinderella that i have the same as her is a evil stepmother. So now i'm going to tell you my Cinderella story....
Once upon a time there was a young girl called Destiny-Leigh. She lived with her mother, stepfather and brother in a lovely little neighborhood. Destiny's mother and father had divorced when she was only a baby, but her father still had her over on the weekends, which was fun for a few years. Destiny's father had started going out with a woman called Lucinda and at first she was lovely to Destiny always taking her out shopping and talking to her. But then after a few years when Destiny was 8 years old she noticed that Lucinda started to talk funny to her, she started telling Destiny horrible things like that her mother didn't know how to look after kids and that her brother wasn't her real brother and even though Destiny was never cheeky to her elders after a while when she was about 11 she started arguing back with Lucinda. By this time Destiny's father and Lucinda had had two children, a boy and a girl, the boy was the oldest and Destiny loved her half brother and sister very much.
This went on for years and years. When Destiny was in her teens that was when Lucinda got worse. Lucinda would always say horrible things about Destiny's mother and she would always say when it was just the four of them everything was fine but when Destiny came over there was always arguments. Lucinda always made Destiny feel guilty and upset, she always went home and told her mother, not because she wanted to cause trouble but because she was close to her mother so liked to confide in her. The arguments that Lucinda caused were just ridiculous, once Lucinda, Destiny's father and the children were going to saint Fagins for a day out, they asked if Destiny if she wanted to come but she very politely said no thank you she would like to go home to see her mother as she had been away from her all weekend. At this Lucinda went crazy and started shouting at Destiny calling her selfish and ungrateful, Destiny argued her case but her dad wouldn't stick up for her. And these are just one of the many things that Lucinda did. As Destiny got older things spiralled out of control, Lucinda kept causing arguments every time Destiny went over her fathers. Then when Destiny thought things couldn't get any worse, they did. When Destiny was 18 her father started to act funny with her, he would have a go at her for little things like, "When are going to have your hair cut it's in your eyes all the time mun", and he would shout at her for taking food out of the fridge in her grans house without asking even though she'd never asked before because she new her gran didn't mind. One day he even had a go at her for being ill.
Destiny thought that her relationship with her father was never going to get better, she just wanted to be rescued by someone from this mess. So one day when Destiny was out with her friends at a dance she seen a young handsome boy, he was the most gorgeous guy Destiny had ever laid eyes on and whilst she was in a world of her own staring at him he looked at her and flashed her the most gorgeous smile ever, Destiny smiled back flashing him her sweet, innocent smile. He then started to walk over to her. He was wearing dark blue jeans, with a white short sleeve shirt, black shoes and he had a silver chain on. He was about five foot nine and had short brown hair, and as he got closer she saw that he had green eyes with a hint of brown in them. As he stopped in front of Destiny he asked her, her name and she told him and in return he told his was Ash, he then asked her to dance. Destiny had never felt so happy and as they danced and stared deeply into each others eyes she knew Ash was the one who would rescue her from her horrible life with her stepmother.
And so they danced long into the night and then went home together, hand in hand, then before they stepped into Destiny's house they shared the most passionate, romantic kiss under the dark starry sky.

                                                                      The End

So that was my Cinderella story and i hope everyone out there who has a evil stepmother learns to stand up to her one day the way i had to. And for all those people who don't have stepmothers, i salute you, because i wish i didn't have one. Hope you enjoyed :) xoxo
